Our June meeting was a fascinating talk and short demonstration from Ronnie on the subject of ‘Still Life’. He explored the whole history of still life, from the Dutch masters to a more modern, abstract approach. He also told us about his own, narrative based, approach such his painting above: Wood, Wool, Tin. I know I found new inspiration to approach still life from a different angle.
