Brian Wilson was the subject of Roger’s portrait, and proved to be a most able model. The colour scheme was influenced by the warmth of the background curtains, with Brian’s blue shirt providing good contrast. It was fascinating watching the features emerge from the loose framework of marks, and the finished portrait was admired by everyone.
